My name's Bec.
My husband and I have two kids (Austin and Lizzie). We had them late, so we'll be at their graduations with colostomy bags. We also have 4 dogs. I love animals, writing, and the idea of being self-sufficient. I'm also excellent at over-committing.
I'm a self-taught photographer, but I was born with an eye for creativity and a passion for people. For the past 20 years, I've enjoyed a career in media and marketing, which began in commercial radio as a copywriter/announcer.
My best work comes from the fleeting exchanges that traditional photographers often cull or purposely overlook. Documentary photography is perfectly imperfect. I do not influence light, play or communication. My sessions truly represent your soul contract (together) in this life.
The essence of who we are, the love we share with other humans and the connections we make can always be found in these seemingly insignificant moments. These seconds of substance turn into a lifetime and become our deepest, most nostalgic memories.
In a world where we struggle immensely to slow down and be present, it is my passion to seek these moments out and highlight the significance of life between the lines.
